In a bold new move for the tourism industry that is sure to excite adventure-seekers and sci-fi enthusiasts alike, we’re excited to announce that we have launched BookOuterspace!
With BookOuterspace, we’re taking our mission to the next level by offering customers camping experiences from near-earth orbit to the far reaches of the universe. BookOuterspace will offer campsites and accommodations on all sorts of celestial bodies, including planets, moons, and asteroids. For example, you can pitch your tent on the molten surface of Mercury, take a dip in the sulfuric acid lakes of Venus, or go skiing on Titan’s icy methane peaks like a pro. And if glamping is more your speed, BookOuterspace offers luxury stays in the International Space Station’s Space Odyssey Resort and Spa.
We’re really excited about this one! We realized that there’s a whole galaxy of opportunities out there for outdoor enthusiasts who are tired of the same old dull campgrounds on Earth. Why settle for a boring weekend in Yosemite when you could be camping on the surface of Venus or playing a round of golf at a glamping resort on the moon?
The idea for BookOuterspace came from our lifelong love of camping and a fascination with the final frontier. I went to Space Camp as a kid and was totally disappointed. It was nothing like camping at all, and we never even left earth. Since then, it’s been my life’s mission to truly bring campfires and s’mores to outer space. And now, thanks to the stars aligning (see what I did there) space camping is finally possible!
To be honest, the prices for BookOuterspace are astronomical, with packages starting at $50,000 per night. The sky’s not the limit anymore, but we know your budget might be. But hey, if you’re not willing to pay $50,000 to sleep on a comet, then maybe you’re not really the outdoorsy type after all.
Of course, camping in space comes with its own set of unique challenges. In addition to the intense heat and cold, there’s also the issue of gravity (or lack thereof) to contend with. To address these challenges, we have a BookOuterspace team of highly-trained space rescue professionals on standby to… well, to do absolutely nothing, because let’s face it, you’re on your own out there.
